  • André Haize of the Institut Français and art historian/curator Michel Philippe Lerebours discuss the exhibition of Haitian art in Paris, entitled "Haïti, anges et démons." The exhibition featured artists from Hector Hyppolite to Jean-Michel Basquiat, among others. The artists come from different social classes, and the exhibition attempted to show that Haitian art is not limited to "naïve art." It also featured sculpture, particularly metal art. They discuss in particularly the inclusion of Basquiat as a Haitian artist.

  • André Haize de l'Institut Français et l'historien/ conservateur Michel Philippe Lerebours présentent l'exposition « Haïti, anges et démons », qui se déroule à Paris et qui a pour thème l'art haïtien. Les artistes exposés vont d'Hector Hyppolite à Jean-Michel Basquiat. Plusieurs classes sociales sont représentées et le but de l'exposition est de montrer qu'Haïti ne se réduit pas à l'art naïf. Des sculptures sont également présentes, notamment en métal. Ils parlent en particulier de l'inclusion de Basquiat en temps qu'artiste haïtien.
