  • Stanley Péan discusses a literary collection that he has published with Alix Renaud, Emile Ollivier, and Maurice Cadet, COMPÈRE JACQUES SOLEIL, in tribute to Jacques Stephen Alexis. Péan also discusses ZOMBI BLUES, his supernatural novel which deals in part with the lingering trauma of Duvalierism, as experienced by people living in the Haitian diaspora. LA MÉMOIRE ENSANGLANTÉE is a novel for adolescents that deals with complex themes such as sexual violence. He also discusses a documentary film project, CARNETS D'UN BLACK EN AYITI.
