  • Martine Lusardy of the Halle Saint-Pierre and Emmanuel Daydé of the municipal government of the city of Paris discuss the exhibition of Haitian art they are organizing in Paris for March 2000, to mark the new millennium. Barbara Prézeau, one of the artists who will be featured at the Paris exhibition, also discusses a multicultural forum on visual arts (arts plastiques) from Africa and the African diaspora that Fondation AfricAmérica is preparing for April 2000 in Port-au-Prince. Prézeau also discusses the need for professionalization of Haitian artists, including respect for copyright.
