Li panse ayisyen dwe ekspòte mizik ayisyen, paske yanvalou ak kontradans pi bèl pase reggae. Koralen dekri eksperyans li ann egzil tou. Animasyon J.J. Dominique ak Monique Lafontant.
Storyteller, poet, and lyricist Jean-Claude Martineau, a.k.a. Koralen, discusses the deceptive simplicity of accessible poetry. For Koralen, poetry should not be reserved for rarefied intellectuals; it is something that can speak to everyone, and he always considers his audience when he writes poetry. He also discusses the depth and richness of Haitian Creole, and the language's evolution, as well as Haitian music. He believes that Haitians should export their musical styles, because yanvalou and kontradans are more beautiful than reggae. Koralen also describes his experience of exile. Hosted by J.J. Dominique and Monique Lafontant.
Animation J.J. Dominique et Monique Lafontant.
