  • After the death of painter Jacques Gabriel, fellow artist Philippe Dodard discusses Gabriel's life and art, including sexual themes in Gabriel's art, his poetry as well as his painting, and his struggles with drug use. Includes a clip of Gabriel reading his poem in tribute to Haitian painter Bernard Wah, in 1982. In the second part of the broadcast, French journalist and writer Éric Sarner discusses his visit to Haiti and the book of literary journalism he is writing about Haiti.

  • Après la mort du peintre Jacques Gabriel, le peintre Philippe Dodard parle de la vie et des créations de Gabriel : la sexualité dans son œuvre, la poésie de Gabriel, et aussi ses problèmes avec la drogue. L’émission comporte un extrait sonore de Gabriel récitant un poème qu’il a écrit en hommage au peintre Bernard Wah, en 1982. Dans la deuxième partie de l’émission, le journaliste et écrivain Éric Sarner parle de sa visite en Haïti et du livre qu’il écrit sur Haïti.
