J.J. Dominique, Yanick Lahens, and Monique Lafontant discuss poet Jean Métellus's play "Anacaona." Lafontant saw the play in Paris, and talks with Métellus, director Antoine Vitez, Delia Blanco who translated the play into Spanish, and Maxime Dumont, a Haitian student living in Paris. They discuss the play, the historical figure of Anacaona, and the conquest and genocide of the native people of the Caribbean. As someone from Léogâne, Métellus describes himself "from the country of Anacaona" even if he is not a direct descendant of Anacoana.
