  • Ben Dupuy discusses elections and the relationship between the PPN and Fanmi Lavalas. He draws a distinction between Fanmi Lavalas and the Lavalas movement; he believes that Fanmi Lavalas has betrayed the populist promises of the Lavalas movement. He discusses conflict between the landholding elite and the peasantry. He criticizes US imperialism in Haiti, and Haitian politicians who carry out the wishes of the international community: "a goat looks into its master's eyes before entering the garden."

  • Ben Dupuy se penche sur les élections et sur la relation entre le PPN et Fanmi Lavalas. Il fait la distinction entre Fanmi Lavalas et le mouvement Lavalas : selon lui, Fanmi Lavalas a trahi les promesses populaires du mouvement. Il parle du conflit entre les grands propriétaires terriens et les paysans. Il critique l'impérialisme américain en Haïti et les politiciens qui courbent l'échine devant la communauté internationale : « la chèvre regarde les yeux de son maître avant de rentrer dans l'enclos ».
