Premye emisyon "Inter Face." Michèle Montas prezante "Inter Face" la kòm yon boujon emisyon "Face à l'Opinion" Jean Dominique te fè yo, paske zòt ki te desann gwo mapou sa a pou yo manje fèy li pa t konnen kantite boujon li t ap kite. Sterlin Saint-Cyr, ki soti nan vilaj Lili (Lully) kote gen anpil lapèch, se yonn nan responsab Asosyason Nasyonal Pechè yo. Li dekri jefò k ap fèt pou ede pechè revandike dwa yo, paske se yon sektè ki meprize anpil ann Ayiti. Li dekri kolaborasyon ant pechè ak kiltivatè (paske toulède gwoup konn sibi eksplwatasyon nan men spekilatè), pwoblèm gwo bato etranje ki vin fè lapèch nan lanmè Ayiti a, pwoblèm polisyon ak degradasyon kòt Ayiti yo, operasyon avèk kiben yo, ak koman taktik "refòm agrè" ka aplike pou konsève resous lanmè Ayiti yo.
First "Inter Face" broadcast. Michèle Montas introduces the series as a "bud" ("boujon") of Jean Dominique's "Face à l'Opinion" interview series, for those who struck down that great mapou tree to eat its leaves did not know the legacy he would leave behind. Sterlin Saint-Cyr of the Association Nationale des Pêcheurs, who hails from the fishing village of Lully, discusses grassroots organizing for the rights of fishermen -- a sector that has long been neglected in Haiti. He describes collaborations between fishermen and peasant farmers (both of whom are similarly exploited by speculators), the problem of foreign ships who fish in Haiti's waters, pollution and degradation of Haiti's coasts, cooperation with Cuba, and how the notion of "agrarian reform" might also apply to conserving Haiti's ocean resources.
