Senk mwa aprè asasina Jean Dominique, Charles Suffrard, Carl Henri Guiteau, Roody Edmé, Erold Joseph, ak Patrick Elie pale sou kreyasyon Fondasyon Eko Vwa Jean Dominique. Lide òganizasyon an soti nan ti peyizan Latibonit yo. Envite yo pale sou objektif fondasyon an, ki se batay kont enpinite, chèche jistis pa sèlman pou Jean Dominique men pou lòt viktim tou, kreye yon sosyete sivil ki enklizif tout bon vre (yon sosyete sivil ki reprezante mas pèp la, ki gen ladan l malere yo ak peyizan yo), epi efase divizyon nan sosyete ayisyen. Yo di klèman Fondasyon Eko Vwa Jean Dominique pa yon òganizasyon politik -- yo pa ta janm pran yon woulib sou lanmò Dominique pou avanse pwòp pwojè politik pa yo.
Five months after Jean Dominique's assassination, Charles Suffrard, Carl Henri Guiteau, Roody Edmé, Erold Joseph, and Patrick Elie discuss the creation of Fondation Eko Vwa Jean Dominique. The idea for the organization came from peasant farmers from the Artibonite. They describe their goals of fighting against impunity, seeking justice for not only Jean Dominique but other victims too, creating a truly inclusive civil society (one that represents the majority, including the poor and rural farmers) and healing the rifts in Haitian society. They clarify that Fondation Eko Vwa Jean Dominique is not a political group -- it would be wrong to capitalize on Dominique's death to further one's own political ends.
