This includes the CATH's advocacy for the rights of Haitian braceros in the Dominican Republic, union leaders' exile in Venezuela, accusations of communism, and the activities of "yellow" unions (pro-government so-called unions). They also explain CATH's projects and goals for labor rights in Haiti, how CATH became CATH-CLAT , and the problems the union faces in post-Duvalier Haiti, amid opposition from the Catholic Church authorities and divisions within Haiti's labor movement and CATH itself.
