  • Nathalie Lamaute-Brisson describes the commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the Cazale massacre and other massacres and acts of Duvalierist repression of 1969 (Ruelle Nazon, Fontamara, Boutillier, Cap Haïtien). She and Jean Dominique discuss the importance of memory (devoir de mémoire), the lack of true justice and accountability for many victims of Duvalierism, the history and evolution of the Haitian left, armed resistance to Duvalier, and anti-communism during the Duvalier regime. They also discuss the book La Bourgeoisie Nationale by Alix Lamaute.
