Pou komemore premye anivèsè referandòm konstitisyonèl 1987 la, Jean Dominique entèvyouve Pè Jean-Bertrand Aristde sou konstitisyon an ak legliz la -- oubyen, jan Aristide di l, "lwa teyolojik ak lwa konstitisyonèl." Aristide mete aksan sou atik 291, ki di makout pa ladan -- li bare ansyen divalyeris pou yo pa ka gen pòs nan gouvènman. Aristide asosye lalwa sa a avèk renmen Bondye. Li fè konparezon ant batay aktyèl pèp ayisyen ap mennen kont makoutis ak enperyalis avèk rezistans izrayèlit yo kont Farawon. Yo pale tou sou refòm agrè kòm yon pati enpòtan liberasyon Ayiti a, pou Ayiti ka granmoun tèt li.
To commemorate the first anniversary of the 1987 constitutional referendum, Jean Dominique interviews Father Jean-Bertrand Aristide about the Constitution and the Church -- or, as Aristide puts it, "theological law and constitutional law." Aristide focuses on article 291, which bars former Duvalierists from holding political office, which Aristide associates with God's love. He compares the Haitian people's current struggle against Macoutism and imperialism with the Israelites' resistance to Pharaoh. They also discuss agrarian reform as an important part of Haitian liberation and sovereignty.
