Emisyon espesyal sou kochon kreyòl la, aprè pwogram PEPPADEP la fin ratibwaze l. Ministè Agrikilti ak Caritas, yo youn ap lonje dwèt sou lòt poutèt plan pou enpòte kochon djòl long soti nan peyi Jamayik la echwè. Peyizan ki soti nan depatman Nò a sonje jan kochon kreyòl la te pemèt yo viv, peye lekòl pou timoun yo; kounye a yo oblije koupe pyebwa pou fè chabon pou yo ka degaje yo. Yo sonje tou, lè te genyen kochon kreyòl, yo pa t jwenn tout pwodwi pèpè sa yo sou mache ayisyen an (diri Miyami, kwis poul ki soti lòt bò, elatriye). Kochon grimèl yo difisil pou yo bay manje epi pou yo okipe. Agwonòm Jacques Baker, yon responsab Ministè Agrikilti a, dekri pwojè repepleman kochon kreyòl la. Yon peyizan ki soti nan Nòdwès (Remon, zòn Janrabèl), eksplike jan siz ane ki sot pase yo te difisil pou peyizan Nòdwès yo; li prèske enposib okipe kochon grimèl yo epi ba yo manje yo bezwen an. Anplis, se grandon yo k ap fè komès sou kochon grimèl yo; anpil peyizan pa t janm jwenn. Jacques Baker deklare se pou peyizan yo al nan distri agrikòl rejyonal yo pou yo jwenn satisfaksyon. Agwonòm Yves André Wainright, ki se youn nan responsab Caritas, eksplike plan Caritas te genyen pou ranplase kochon kreyòl la avèk kochon djòl long ki soti nan Jamayik. Men plan sa a degrengole akòz delè Ministè Agrikilti a ak politik Etazini (Etazini te sipoze teste kochon jamayiken yo pou wè si yo te genyen lapès pòsinn, men gouvènman ameriken te koupe tout èd pou Ayiti). Caritas te pèdi anpil lajan nan kochon jamayiken yo. Baker reponn ak akizasyon Caritas yo; li deklare se fòt Caritas paske yo te minimize risk sanitè kochon jamayiken yo te ka poze, epi yo pa t swiv pwotokòl yo.
Special broadcast on the Creole pig, six years after its eradication under the PEPPADEP program. The Ministry of Agriculture and Caritas each blame one another for the failure of the plan to import pigs from Jamaica. Peasant farmers from the Nord department recall how Creole pigs allowed them to survive and send their children to school; now they have turned to cutting down trees to make charcoal in order to make ends meet. They also recall that when they had Creole pigs, the markets were not flooded with products from abroad, such as "Miami rice" and imported chicken. The new imported pigs are expensive and difficult to care for. Agronomist Jacques Baker from the Ministry of Agriculture explains the repopulation project. A peasant farmer from the Nord-Ouest (Raymond, near Jean-Rabel) describes the difficulties of the past six years, as peasant farmers find it nearly impossible to feed and take care of the "kochon grimèl" and it is mainly big landowners who are making money off the foreign pigs. Jacques Baker says that peasant farmers should go to their regional agricultural office ("distri agrikòl") for assistance. Agronomist Yves André Wainright of Caritas discusses Caritas's plan to replace the Creole pig with Jamaican pigs, which eventually fell apart due to the Ministry of Agriculture's dragging its feet and US policy (the US was supposed to test the Jamaican pigs for swine fever, then cut off aid to Haiti). Caritas lost a massive sum of money that it had used to buy Jamaican pigs. Baker responds to Caritas's accusations, claiming that Caritas was minimizing the sanitary risks posed by the Jamaican pigs and did not follow protocols.
