The Forum Démocratique program commemorates its first anniversary by revisiting its own archives. These include programs on the press and democracy (particularly the role of Radio Soleil in the anti-Duvalier resistance); contraband goods and domestic production; the formation of CONACOM; the question of dismantling Fort Dimanche; the 1987 constitutional referendum and constitution (particularly article 291, which forbid Macoutes from holding government positions); insecurity, violence, and human rights; the 1987 baccalaureate crisis in the education system; and the stakes of the 1987 elections under the CNG (including the question of demacoutization and the army). Pour commémorer le premier anniversaire de l’émission Forum Démocratique, retour sur les archives. L’émission comprend un programme sur presse et démocratie (surtout le rôle de Radio Soleil dans la résistance anti-duvaliériste); contrebande et production nationale; formation du KONAKOM, la question du démantèlement de Fort Dimanche; le référendum constitutionnel de 1987 et la constitution (surtout l’article 291 qui interdit aux macoutes l’accès à tout poste gouvernemental); l’insécurité, la violence et les droits humains; la crise du baccalauréat 1987 dans le système éducatif; la question des élections de 1987 sous le CNG (qui comprend la question de la démacoutisation et de l’armée).
