Pour les élèves et les étudiants haitiens, les problèmes de l’université sont liés aux problèmes des écoles secondaires.   • Guy Alexandre, Emmanuel Buteau, Roody Edmé of CNEH, and Luckson Fontus of a students' union discuss Haitian students' boycott of the baccalaureate exam and the crisis in the Haitian university system. For Haitian students, the problems of higher education and secondary education are linked. Many students are boycotting the national exam out of patriotism, believing that it would be a betrayal of the country to participate in the exam when the education system has not yet eliminated Duvalierist elements ("rache manyòk li"). They discuss the relationship between the problems of the education system and the broader social crisis.
