  • Jean Dominique interviews Dr. Sheila Jérôme and Morel Bérard, each of whom lost a child to kidney failure caused by poisoned cough syrup produced by Laboratoires Pharval. Both Jérôme and Bérard have received death threats and been victims of arson, as have other parents of Pharval victims, because they continue to seek justice for their children. On February 25, 2000, Dr. Jérôme was kidnapped, beaten, threatened at gunpoint, attacked with a pocketknife, and nearly raped by assailants who told her to shut up about the Pharval case and who claimed to be acting on the orders of Rudolph Boulos, the head of Pharval. Dr. Jérôme had them perform an autopsy on her son's body to have proof of the cause of death, but the General Hospital discarded the organs. Despite these threats and setbacks, they are continuing to seek justice; the parents held a hunger strike at the Ministry of Justice, and Mme. Florence Élie continues to champion their cause. This interview was done two days before Jean Dominique's assassination, and broadcast on May 3, 2000, a month after his death.

Jérôme et Bérard ont chacun reçu des menaces de mort et ont été victimes d'incendies criminels comme d'autres parents des victimes du sirop Pharval, parce qu'ils continuent à se battre pour rendre justice à leurs enfants. Le 25 février 2000, la doctoresse Jérôme fut enlevée, tabassée, mise en joue, attaquée avec un canif et ses assaillants tentèrent de la violer. Ils lui dirent agir sous les ordres du directeur de Pharval Rudolph Boulos et lui ordonnèrent de se taire au sujet du sirop contaminé. La doctoresse Jérôme avait fait effectuer une autopsie de son fils afin de prouver la cause du décès ; malheureusement, l'Hôpital Général s'était débarassé des organes. Malgré les menaces et les obstacles, ils tiennent bon : les parents ont entamé une grève de la faim devant le ministère de Justice et Madame Florence Élie continue de soutenir leur cause. L'interview fut réalisée deux jours avant la mort de Dominique et fut diffusée le 3 mai 2000, un mois après son assassinat.
