Jean Dominique entèvyouve Bencio Bien-Aimé, Calixte Lazarre, ak Pierre Agnès, ki se twa manm Asosyasyon Plantè Akayè-Kabarè (APAC). Yo pale sou konfli ki pete ant APAC ak Asosyasyon Irigan Laplenn Akayè (AIPA) sou kesyon peman irigasyon. Yo pale tou sou plan APAC genyen pou rebwazman pou pwoteje basen vèsan yo; yo espere leta pral pèmèt yo sèvi ak tè leta pou apiye pwojè sa a. Gen chirepit ant APAC ak AIPA sou traktè Ministè Agrikilti te bay -- AIPA jwenn traktè a, men APAC pa t jwenn. Li ta ka posib pou peyizan AIPA yo ak peyizan APAC yo rale zam yonn sou lòt, men misye APAC yo demanti yo ta dechouke AIPA pou mete tèt yo nan plas li.
Jean Dominique interviews Bencio Bien-Aimé, Calixte Lazarre, and Pierre Agnès, three members of the Association des Planteurs de l'Arcahaie et Cabaret (APAC). They discuss the conflict between APAC and the Association des Irrigants de la Plaine de l'Arcahaie (AIPA) over payment for irrigation. They also discuss APAC's plan for reforestation to protect watersheds, and their hope that the state will support these plans by making state-owned land available. APAC and AIPA are also in conflict over the distribution of tractors by the Ministry of Agriculture-- AIPA received their tractor, but APAC did not. It is possible that the conflict between AIPA and APAC could turn violent, but the APAC members deny that they wish to unseat AIPA to take its place.
