Ils discutent aussi de l’incapacité de l’État à réguler et contrôler les écoles « borlettes » (de qualité médiocre), et du déroulement du Plan national d’éducation. D’après Bien-Aimé, les gens critiquent le gouvernement Lavalas sans reconnaitre ce qu’il a réalisé : construction d’écoles, programme de cantines scolaires, distribution de matériel scolaire, etc…
