Jean Dominique entèvyouve twa manm gwoupman peyizan ki soti nan zòn Ansapit: Patrick Robasson ki soti nan Ansapit menm, Nedy Rabel ki soti nan Gran-Gozye, epi Carlo Bernard ki soti nan Tyòt. Yo pale sitou kesyon kiltivasyon kafe nan zòn nan. Kòm zòn nan izole anpil epi pa gen bon jan wout, espekilatè avèk ekspòtatè pa vin achte nan men kiltivatè yo. Kiltivatè yo bije janbe fwontyè a pou vann dominiken yo pito, men pafwa dominiken yo konn vòlè kafe a epi yo vann li kòm kafe dominiken. Yo pale tou sou devlopman kòperativ kafe, k ap fèt an kolaborasyon avèk ONG. Yo espere pwogram Prezidan Préval pou kore kiltivatè lokal yo pral rive jwenn yo Ansapit.
Jean Dominique interviews three members of grassroots peasants' organizations in the area of Anse-à-Pitres: Patrick Robasson from Anse-à-Pitres, Nedy Rabel from Grand-Gosier, and Carlo Bernard from Thiotte. They primarily discuss coffee cultivation in the area. Because it is so isolated and the roads are so bad, speculators and exporters do not come to buy coffee from local planters. The planters are forced to sell instead to Dominicans, who sometimes steal their coffee and sell it as Dominican coffee. They discuss the development of coffee cooperatives, in conjunction with NGOs, and hopes that President Préval's program to support local planters will reach Anse-à-Pitres.
