Ben Dupuy eksplike poukisa APN nan deside transfòme tèt li an pati politik, epi li pale sou ideyoloji ak strateji pa l. Pami sijè sa yo, gen kesyon dwa tè ak sistèm feyodalis demwatye a, ak poukisa Dupuy te opoze konstitisyon 1987 la. Dupuy konsidere konstitisyon an yon pongongon ki se yon konpwomi ant boujwa yo ak grandon yo. Jean Dominique konstate ke Dupuy te konn denonse eleksyon yo, men kounye a l ap patisipe nan eleksyon, epi li te konn denonse konstitisyon an, men kounye a l ap konfòme ak konstitisyon an. Dominique dakò ke konstitisyon an te yon konpwomi, men pèp ayisyen an te jwenn kèk revandikasyon ladan l kanmenm. Dupuy denonse enperyalis Etazini, ke li di ap fòse rekonsilyasyon nan gòj Ayiti a. Dapre Dupuy, se blan ameriken ki sous enpinite ak makoutis an Ayiti. Yo pale sou koman demokrat ak repibliken yo Ozetazini sèvi ak Ayiti pou chirepit ak stratajèm politik pa yo. Dominique mande ki relasyon APN nan genyen avèk KEP la, ak sou ki lyen APN nan genyen avèk Lafanmi.
Ben Dupuy explains why the APN has decided to turn itself into a political party, and discusses his ideology and strategy. This includes land rights issues and the feudalism of the demwatye system, and his opposition to the 1987 constitution, which he considers a compromise between the bourgeoisie and the big landowners. Jean Dominique points out that Dupuy has previously denounced elections but is now participating in them, and that he previously denounced the constitution but is now adhering to it. While Dominique agrees that the constitution was a compromise, it nonetheless fulfilled some of the demands of the Haitian people. Dupuy also denounces US imperialism, who he says are forcing the Haitian people to accept "reconciliation." According to Dupuy, this is the source of impunity and the continued presence of Macoutism in Haiti. They discuss how Republicans and Democrats use Haiti in their political conflicts and stratagems. Dominique asks about APN's relationship with the CEP and APN's links with Fanmi Lavalas.
