Duramé Jean Medudor, delege Gantye, dekri pou Jean Dominique pwoblèm popilasyon Gantye a ap afwonte, sitou konsènan ensifizans enfrastrikti ak travay piblik nan zòn nan. Malgre Gantye toupre fwontyè dominiken an epi li enpòtan anpil pou komès transfwontalye, vil la pa jwenn resèt leta. Medudor ta renmen pou kamyon k ap pase Gantye oblije peye yon ti taks. Li dekri jan kriz politik la afekte travay li antanke eli lokal -- lè li pa touche, li pa ka fè anyen pou popilasyon li sanse reprezante a. Medudor pataje pèspektif li sou Jean-Bertrand Aristide ak Fanmi Lavalas, kote li di Aristide pa gen dwa parachite pwòp kandida pa l nan vil tankou Gantye; se pou moun Gantye yo chwazi kandida yo vle yo. Medudor gen yon opinyon pozitif sou Prezidan René Préval, ki ap ede Gantye, sitou onivo wout ak lekòl. Pou fini, yo pale ki menas òganizasyon popilè tankou JPP reprezante pou Lavalas.
Duramé Jean Medudor, delegate from the town of Ganthier, describes to Jean Dominique the problems faced by the population of Ganthier, particularly the lack of infrastructure and public works. Despite the fact that Ganthier is near the Dominican border and is central to cross-border trade, the town does not benefit from state revenue. Medudor would like for truck drivers who pass through Ganthier to pay a tax. He describes how the political crisis has affected his work as a local elected official -- when he is not paid, he cannot do anything to help the people he represents. Medudor shares his perspective on Jean-Bertrand Aristide and the Fanmi Lavalas party, saying that Aristide does not have the right to parachute into communities like Ganthier with candidates of his own choosing. Medudor is, however, positive about President René Préval, who has helped Ganthier improve its roads and schools. Finally, they discuss the threats posed to Lavalas by organisations populaires like JPP.
