Jean Dominique entèvyouve anseyan Roody Edmé sou kriz politik la, kote demokrat nan chirepit avèk demokrat, epi politisyen yo gen sa Edmé rele yon "mantalite gladiyatè." Yo pale rapò difisil ant pati politik (Fanmi Lavalas, OPL, KONAKOM, elatriye), ant palman ak egzekitif la, epi ant lidè politik ak popilasyon an. Chirepit ant lidè politik yo konn absoli epi trè pèsonèl; souvan yo enplike yon dyabolizasyon advèsè a. Kanta pèp la, klim laperèz pèpetyèl sa a ankouraje divizyon epi li paralize sosyete a, ki fè pwogrè prèske enposib.
Jean Dominique interviews educator Roody Edmé about Haiti's ongoing political crisis, in which democrats are fighting democrats and politicians are blinded by what Edmé terms a "gladiator mentality." They discuss the contentious relationships between political parties (Fanmi Lavalas, OPL, KONAKOM, etc.), between the legislative branch and the executive, and between political leaders and the Haitian people. The conflicts between political leaders are absolute and personal, and often involve a demonization of the adversary. As for the people, the perpetual climate of fear encourages social divisions and paralyzes society, making progress nearly impossible.
