  • Rock César, Guy Numa, and Ronel Sanon of the Espas Konsètasyon Òganizasyon Popilè Granmoun Yo (a coalition of various grassroots groups) speak with Jean Dominique about the differences between real OPs that represent the interests of the masses and fraudulent OPs. They examine the problems that arise when anti-imperialist activists become part of the apparatus of power they have long criticized, denounce the Lavalas government's emphasis on reconciliation with Macoutes, and discuss the systematic destructuration of the democratic movement in Haiti. According to the guests, the Ministry of Justice under Max Antoine is corrupting popular movements with promises to provide reparations for victims of the coup years without also providing justice. Haiti is under a new US occupation, which takes the form of programs like ASOSYE and various NGOs. While this occupation was supposedly to reinstate Jean-Bertrand Aristide and democracy, it is actually a method for the US to do as it wishes with Haiti.

  • Rock César, Guy Numa et Ronel Sanon, trois membres de « Espas Konsètasyon Òganizasyon Popilè Granmoun Yo » (une coalition d’organisations de base), discutent avec Jean Dominique de la différence entre les vraies organisations populaires représentant les intérets de la majorité, et les fausses OP qui font du n’importe quoi. Ils examinent les problèmes qui se posent lorsque des militants anti-impérialistes intègrent l’appareil d’état qu’ils critiquaient depuis longtemps. Ils dénoncent l’accent mis par Lavalas sur la « reconciliation », et expliquent la destructuration systématique du mouvement démocratique haïtien.
