Jean Dominique entèvyouve André Lafontant Joseph, ki se yonn nan responsab sendika anseyan KNAD, sou patisipasyon li nan katriyèm rankont Akademi Entènasyonal pou Lapè (AIP) nan Monwi. Rankont sa a te reyini reprezantan plizyè sektè politik pou yo dyaloge ansanm, kote yo chita sou kesyon ekonomi epi sou kesyon jistis ak rekonsilyasyon. Joseph regrèt absans blòk neyoliberal pandan rankont Monwi lan, koman yo t ap diskite ajisteman estriktirèl avèk wòl sektè prive a. Dominique poze Joseph kesyon sou kontradiksyon ant Marc Bazin, ekonomis, avèk Marc Bazin, lòm politik (kòm Bazin te premye minis pandan peryòd koudeta). Konsènan jistis ak rekonsilyasyon, Dominique ak Joseph pale sou preparasyon pou pwosè Raboto a, enpinite ki kontinye ap fè banda -- soti nan sistèm divalyeris, pase nan gouvènman militè aprè Duvalier fin tonbe, rive nan peryòd koudeta -- epi sou makoutis ki kontinye ap pouri anndan sistèm jidisyè a.
Jean Dominique interviews André Lafontant Joseph, one of the leaders of the teachers' union CNEH, who participated in the fourth International Peace Academy meeting in Montrouis. The meeting brought together representatives from different political sectors, and focused on the economy as well as the question of justice and reconciliation. Joseph regrets the absence of the anti-neoliberal bloc at the Montrouis meeting, as they debated structural adjustment and the role of the private sector. Dominique asks Joseph about the contradictions between Marc Bazin, the economist, and Marc Bazin the politician (as he was prime minister during the coup years). In terms of justice and reconciliation, they discuss preparation for the Raboteau trial, the reign of impunity -- from Duvalierism through the post-Duvalier military period to the coup years -- and the macoutism that continues to riddle the judicial system. Dominique describes losing his "son," Richard Brisson, and his brother, Philippe Dominique.
