Jean Dominique entèvyouve Pierre Alix Macajoux ak Brunel Dérilus, ki se de manm asanble depatmantal Latibonit. Yo pale sou eleksyon 6 avril yo, kote toulede te pote viktwa. Dapre Dérilus ak Macajoux, eleksyon sa yo te eleksyon gagòt, epi moun k ap vote Latibonit pito kandida endepandan paske pati politik yo pa satisfè yo. Yo pale sou divizyon anndan Fanmi Lavalas, epi sou pwoblèm "maryaj makout-Lavalas." Aprè sa, yo kritike jan refòm agrè ap dewoule nan Latibonit. Peyizan Latibonit yo ta renmen pou resous ki sanse fè pati refòm agrè a distribye egal ego -- pa sèlman tè, men semans, zouti, angrè, ak kredi riral tou.
Jean Dominique interviews Pierre Alix Macajoux and Brunel Dérilus, two members of the departmental assembly for the Artibonite. They discuss the 6 April elections, in which they were both elected. According to Dérilus and Macajoux, the elections were corrupt and voters in the Artibonite were drawn to independent candidates because they are not satisfied with the political parties. They discuss the divisions within Fanmi Lavalas, and the problem of the "marriage of Lavalas and Macoutes." They then turn to criticisms of how agrarian reform is being carried out in the Artibonite. The farmers of the Artibonite would like a more equitable distribution of all the resources that were supposed to be part of agrarian reform, including not only land but also seeds, tools, fertilizer, and credit. They also discuss the challenges of national production, specifically the commercialization of rice production in the Artibonite.
