  • With Nora Cortiñas of the Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo (Asociación Madres de Plaza de Mayo), an association of mothers whose children were disappeared under the military dictatorship in Argentina from 1976 to 1983. She speaks of the origins and history of the movement, the search for justice for victims of the dictatorship, the tortures and crimes committed by the dictatorship, and repression of journalists under the military regime. Cortiñas also discusses her visit to Haiti, particularly to Cité Soleil, and her visit to the Dominican bateys where Haitian cane-cutters are mistreated. She speaks of her meetings with Haitian human rights activists, including the Fondation 30 Septembre, who, like her, are fighting against impunity. Interview Jean L. Dominique.

Elle parle aussi de sa visite en Haïti, notamment à Cité Soleil et dans les bateys dominicains où les coupeurs de canne à sucre haïtiens sont maltraités, et de sa rencontre avec des militants haïtiens des droits de l'homme, y compris la Fondation 30 Septembre qui, comme elle, lutte contre l'impunité.
