Jean Dominique interviews Father Edner Devalcin of Fanmi Lavalas about his recent visit to South Africa. Devalcin describes South Africa's efforts to seek truth and justice for victims of apartheid, life in the townships, questions of succession in the African National Congress, continued racial discrimination, and the growing political power of South Africa's black majority while the white minority retains economic power. Devalcin and Dominique compare South Africa's situation to Haiti's, particularly concerning the question of reconciliation.

Devalcin décrit les efforts qui sont faits pour trouver la vérité et rendre justice aux victimes de l’apartheid, la vie dans les townships (les bidonvilles), la question de la succession à l’ANC (African National Congress), la discrimination raciale qui existe toujours, et le pouvoir politique toujours grandissant des Sud-Africains noirs (la majorité de la population), même si c’est la minorité blanche qui détient toujours le pouvoir économique. Devalcin et Dominique comparent la situation en Afrique du Sud et en Haïti, surtout en ce qui concerne la réconciliation.
