  • Jean Dominique interviews Alix Fils-Aimé, the MP representing Pétionville and Kenscoff, about decentralization and government funding for the outlying regions (collectivités territoriales) of Haiti. According to Fils-Aimé, the government has not distributed funding for decentralization and the administration of local government. Fils-Aimé has even suggested that President René Préval should be put on trial because the constitution stipulates that the executive is in charge of allocating the budget. Fils-Aimé discusses his problems with the 6 April election, and describes the role of a member of parliament (including how he represents his constituency while also serving on the decentralization committee). He also discusses the country's political crisis, and calls for greater dialogue between the different political sectors.

Fils-Aimé parle aussi de ses problèmes concernant les élections du 6 avril, et décrit le rôle d’un membre du parlement (par exemple comment représenter les intérêts de sa circonscription alors qu’il travaille pour la commission sur la décentralisation). Enfin, il parle de la crise politique et lance un appel au dialogue entre les différents secteurs politiques.
