After CONACOM's third national congress, which was held in Thorland, Rosemond Pradel became the secretary general of CONACOM, so it is now a bicephalous political party. They discuss CONACOM's position on several issues, include dual nationality, which according to Benoît is important for remittances from Haitians living abroad. CONACOM hopes to form a "rassemblement démocratique" of different political groups; when Dominique asks if that would include supporters of the 1991 coup d'état, Benoît breaks into tears and says that if he did that, slaughtered CONACOM members in the Artibonite would rise up from their graves. They discuss CONACOM's acrimonious break with Dunois Erick Cantave. Benoît objects strongly to how President Préval has gone about agrarian reform, and believes that he and other political parties were not consulted. Finally, Dominique and Benoît discuss CONACOM's hope of eliminating the ASECs and Benoît's stance on neoliberalism and anti-neoliberalism.
