Jean Dominique entèvyouve Depite Alix Chataigne, manm MOP, sou kriz politik la. Kontinye gen blokaj ant palman ak egzekitif la, epi Ayiti poko gen premye minis. Pandan setan, leta pa fè pwogrè sou gwo bezwen popilasyon an, tankou sante, edikasyon, ak pwodiksyon nasyonal. Lidè politik yo la pou defann enterè pwòp pati politik pa yo, pwòp klan pa yo. Dominique mande si se konsa Ayiti ye, soti nan viktwa analfabèt Nord-Alexis sou gwo entelektyèl Anténor Firmin nan lane 1902 rive jounen jodiya.
Jean Dominique interviews MP Alix Chataigne of MOP about the political crisis. There continues to be a stalemate between parliament and the executive, and Haiti still has no Prime Minister. Meanwhile, no progress is made to address major needs of the population, such as health, education, and domestic production. Politicians only act in the interest of their own political parties, their own clans. Dominique wonders if this will always be the pattern in Haitian politics, from the intellectual Anténor Firmin's loss to the illiterate Nord-Alexis in 1902 to today.
