  • Jean Dominique interviews general director of Électricité d'Haïti (EDH) on a recent power outage. Élisma explains that a truck collided with an electricity pole and broke it. Despite EDH complaining to the justice system, nothing has been done to fix the problem. In addition to that, there have been electricity rations due to an ongoing rehabilitation program for the Péligre dam. They discuss what EDH lacks to be able to meet the electricity needs of the people. Élisma describes the negative effects of the embargo on EDH's resources.
