Longchamp states that the Elie affair is now in the hands of the U.S. justice system. Dominique asks Longchamp about acts of discrimination towards Haitians living in the Dominican Republic. Longchamps states the importance of not normalizing such acts of antihaitianismo. He states that the Haitian government is not telling the Dominican government to not deport its undocumented population, but it does have a problem with the way the deportations are happening. Dominique asks Longchamp about Haitian-Cuban relations. Longchamp discusses the current state of an accord between Cuba and Haiti, and how the re-establishment of diplomatic relations between Haiti and Cuba might affect relations between Haiti and the United States. They discuss the state of communities of Haitian origin living in Cuba. They discuss relations between Haiti, China, and Taiwan, and Haitian-Venezuelan relations.
