Ils abordent les questions de la sécurité et l'insécurité, d'abus de pouvoir, du manque de confiance du peuple dans la police, des gangs et des violences à la Cité Soleil et ailleurs, du rôle de la police dans l'encadrement des manifestations, des défis liés au désarmement et des autres divers obstacles et problèmes auxquels fait face la police. Ils analyse la réponse de la police à la grève nationale du 16 janvier 1997 et la relation entre police et politique, particulièrement dans le cadre du peuple qui s'oppose aux initiatives néo-libéralistes.

They address security and insecurity, abuses of power by the police, the Haitian people's lack of confidence in the police, gangs and violent incidents in Cité Soleil and elsewhere, the role of the police in controlling demonstrations and protests, the challenges of disarmament, and other obstacles and problems the police face. They discuss the police's response to the January 16, 1997 national strike, and the relationship between policing and politics, particularly related to people expressing their opposition to neoliberal policy.
