Laënnec Hurbon pale sou enpòtans pwojè UNESCO ki retrase vwayaj esklav afriken yo. Li adrese mank de inisyativ nan sonje an detay ki jan esklav yo te rive nan destinasyon final yo, ak kilti epi istwa a yo te kreye pou pwòp tèt pa yo anvan yo te derasinen. Li pale sou ki jan pwojè a fèt ak ki jan li pral kapab kraze silans lan ki sèvi kòm yon zouti politik, epi anpeche istwa sa a fèt ankò. Yo pale tou sou wòl legliz la nan etablisman esklavaj.
Jean Dominique and Laënnec Hurbon discuss the importance of UNESCO’s project to retrace the voyage of enslaved African people. He addresses the lack of initiative to recall in detail how enslaved people arrived to their final destinations as well as the history they had created for themselves prior to being uprooted. He talks about how this project will break the silence that has been used a political tool, and how it might serve to keep history from repeating itself. They also speak about the role of religion in the spread of slavery.
