  • Jean Dominique interviews president of the senate and of the National Assembly Edgard Leblanc about current concerns of Haitian society. Leblanc states that the Haitian government has weaknesses that makes it unable to address certain problems, but a modernization plan is the priority of the economic plan being developed by parliament. Dominique refers to sixty children who recently died in the Pharval syrup incident, and he asks Leblanc whether justice is an element of modernization, too.
