Li pale tou sou to sendikalizasyon ki ba nan lekòl yo epi kijan li ta vle chanje sa. Yo pale sou efè twa zan koudeta yo te genyen sou federasyon sendika yo. Pierre pale sou enfòmasyon baz ki manke ki fè pèp la mal pou vote. Li di se mank òganizasyon sa a ki pèmèt ONG rantre nan kominote yo pou eseye rezoud pwoblèm pèp yo ak solisyon ki pa soti ni nan pèp la ni nan òganizasyon sosyete sivil.
Michèle Montas interviews Jean Marie Pierre, head of La Confédération nationale des éducateurs d'Haïti (CNEH). Pierre discusses a recent congress held by the CNEH, for which participants came from different parts of the country to brainstorm issues of power within the CNEH. He discusses low rates of unionization in schools in Haiti and how he would like to change that. They discuss the effects of a three-year-long coup d'etat on the union federations. Pierre talks about a lack of information on candidates for elected office positions, and how that has created a population disinterested in voting. He states that this lack of organization and information that allows NGOs to enter the communities to try to solve the people's problems with solutions that did not come from the people nor the civil society organizations.
