Li pale sou kisa li panse solisyon pwoblèm sa ye, tankou restorasyon sòl pou anpeche lavalas dlo fè eboulman epi retire anbouchi ki anpeche dlo rivyè Baradè a koule al nan lanmè. UCG fè pwomès l ap bay Baptiste lajan pou li reyalize solisyon li a nan mwa jen. Roumer dekri poukisa jeyografi Baradè a fè li espesyalman siseptib a inondasyon. Yo pale sou kijan inondasyon sa yo afekte wout Baradè yo.
Jean Dominique interviews mayor of Baradères Samuel Baptiste and senator of Grand'anse Maxime Roumer about Baradères's struggles with flooding after storms. Baptiste describes loss of peasant homes, livestock, and property due to recent flooding after a storm. He explains what he thinks solutions to the flooding are, including soil restoration to prevent future landslides and clearing blockages in the Baradères river and the ravines that flow through the city. UCG has promised to release funds for Baptiste to materialize his solution in June. Roumer elaborates on why the topography of Baradères makes it especially vulnerable to severe flooding. They discuss how flooding affects Baradères roads.
