Ils abordent la question des « projets à haute intensité de main d'œuvre » ainsi que celles de la privatisation et de la dette publique. Dominique se demande si le secteur privé est la solution aux problèmes du pays, prenant comme exemples l'importation de riz qui détruit la production nationale et les vêtements d'occasion provenant de l'étranger qui menacent les tailleurs haïtiens. Dewez répond que l'État doit mettre en place des règles et des régulations pour protéger la production nationale.
