Frè Francklin Armand eksplike travay li konn fè avèk peyizan Pandyasou yo nan Plato Santral. Pou Frè Armand, travay avèk sa k pi pòv yo fè pati travay li, antanke patizan teyolji liberasyon. Sa fè 20 an depi li rive Pandyasou. Lè sa a, pa t gen ni dlo pou moun bwè ni pou wouze rekòt yo. Jounen jodiya gen de sous dlo: yo fouye twou al jwenn sous anba tè ki fè moun jwenn dlo pou wouze rekòt, epi yo kreye lak kolinè. Kounye a gen trèz lak kolinè; konsa popilasyon Pandyasou jwenn dlo pou wouze ak pou fè pisikilti (pwason kap ak tilapya). Gen blan ki vin patisipe nan pwojè sa yo, epi kounye a Frè Armand ak kolaboratè li yo kòmanse ap fè pwojè sa yo gaye nan lòt zòn peyi dAyiti. Y ap plante anpil rekòt kounye a, ki gen ladan yo soya, ki ka sèvi pou plizyè bagay. Dominique poze l kesyon sou akizasyon anpil moun konn fè lè yo lonje dwèt sou peyizan yo, lè yo di se yo ki responsab tout pwoblèm yo: ewozyon tè a, ewozyon ekonomik, fwit de sèvo ki se yon sòt de ewozyon sosyal ak ekonomik. Dapre Armand, pi gwo lenmi peyizan ayisyen se leta ayisyen. Li souliye enpòtans kredi agrikòl pou peyizan yo pa oblije prete kòb nan ponya.
Brother Francklin Armand discusses his work with the peasant farmers of Pandiassou in the Central Plateau. For Brother Armand, working with the poorest of the poor is part of his work as a proponent of liberation theology. When he came to Pandiassou, twenty years ago, there was no water to drink nor to irrigate crops. Now there are two water sources: they have dug wells that allow people to irrigate their crops, and have created catchment ponds in the ground. There are now thirteen catchment ponds that allow the people of Pandiassou to irrigate and to farm carp and tilapia. Foreigners have come to participate in the project, and Brother Armand and his collaborators have begun to work in other regions of Haiti as well. They are growing many crops, including soybeans, which have many uses. Dominique asks about accusations that peasant farmers are responsible for their own problems: land erosion, economic erosion, the social and economic erosion that is "brain drain." According to Armand, the greatest enemy of the Haitian peasant farmer is the Haitian state. He underlines the need for agricultural credit so that farmers can escape from the predatory "ponya" system.
