Jean Dominique interviewe Lakhdar Brahimi, le représentant spécial de la Mission des Nations unies en Haïti (MINUHA), à propos de son opinion sur le récent retour de l'ordre constitutionnel dans le pays. Brahimi fait la liste des difficultés actuelles qu'il a observé en Haïti, héritage des longues années de dictature. Il reconnait que ces dernières furent difficiles pour la plupart des Haïtiens, mais soutient qu'il faisait confiance au peuple pour maintenir la démocratie et l'ordre. Il parle aussi du rôle de la Police pour garantir la stabilité intérieure.

Jean Dominique interviews Lakhdar Brahimi, the special representative of the Secretary General of the United Nations Mission in Haiti (MINUHA), about Brahimi's thoughts on Haiti's recent return to a constitutional order. Brahimi lists the present difficulties he observed in Haiti as a result of years of dictatorship. He recognized that the years of dictatorship were difficult for most Hatians but stated his faith in the Haitian people to maintain democracy and order. He also discusses the role of a police force to maintain internal peace.
