Antoine Adrien ak Jean-Bertrand Aristide, 2 pè ki preche teyoloji liberasyon, eksplike koman yon bann nèg ak zam atake yo nan devan barikad lapolis tou pre pòs lame Freycineau, 23 out 1987. Adrien di atak la te byen kalkile, epi li denonse akizasyon Minis Enfòmasyon Gérard Noël ki di Aristide ap ankouraje vyolans. Yo ta renmen konnen ki objektif lame a nan ankouraje ensekirite sa a, epi yo pale sou plan Divalyeris yo pou tounen sou pouvwa. Yo pale sou enperyalis ameriken, ak gouvènman Ronald Reagan ki ap mele nan politik ayisyen. Filo mande yo ki pozisyon otorite legliz katolik la pa rapò ak atak kont pè yo, epi ki pozisyon otorite legliz yo pa rapò ak teyoloji liberasyon an jeneral.
Liberation theology priests Antoine Adrien and Jean-Bertrand Aristide describe how they were attacked by armed gunmen at a police roadblock near the army post in Freycineau on August 23, 1987. Adrien claims this was a well-planned attack, and decries Minister of Information Gérard Noël's accusation that Aristide was promoting violence. They want to know the army's motives in encouraging a climate of insecurity, and discuss Duvalierists' plans to return to power. They discuss the American imperialism and the interference of Ronald Reagan's government in Haitian politics. Filo asks about the Catholic Church authorities' position on this violence against the priests, and on liberation theology in general.
