Interview with Peng Jinxiu

Peng Jinxiu (b. 1931) was born in Ji Mingqiao Village, Baiyun Town, Changde City, Hunan Province. In this oral history, Peng recalls the Great Famine, when her second uncle wandered outside the village for food and her grandfather died of hunger.

彭金秀1931年出生于湖南省常德市石门县白云镇鸡鸣桥村。在这段口述中，彭老人回忆了大饥荒时她的二舅为寻找食物去村外流浪和外公被饿死的经历。
