Liu Renci (b. 1938) is a resident of Xuanzhongyu Village, Baiyun Town, Shimen County, Hunan Province. In this interview, Liu recalls how the people’s commune canteen did not have enough food, though; the villagers were not allowed to cook in their own house. Liu also talks about how he survived the Great Famine thanks to the stolen food coupons given by an acquaintance.
刘仁慈(1938年生)湖南省石门县白云乡王家堰村村民。在这段口述中,刘老人回忆了食堂粮食供给不足还不准村民私自开火的故事,以及自己靠熟人偷来的饭票扛过饥荒的情况。
