- Tom Minor (b. 1942) was born in New York City. While studying photography at Princeton, Minor met Gene Smith through Bill Pierce. Minor assisted Smith making prints in his loft in the late 1960s. Minor became very involved with enviromental work later in life. In this oral history, Minor discusses his development as a photographer, his time spent working with W. Eugene Smith on various photographic projects, and his more current involvement with environmental and conservation issues.
