To the right of the vertical, the numbers on the face of the coupon indicated the number of units, zone number and the period in which the coupon was to be used. Coupons on the left of the center vertical and the bottom row on the right, had the face value of 1, 5 or 10 gallons and were used for making change. Printed in black ink.
