Part of the Western Wall. In the front, German watchman next to an old muzzleloader and a 3.7cm Hansa machine gun on its gun carriage. In the central background white battleship, engl. Cannonboat Algerine and some other cruisers on the Pei-ho River.
Caption in German: Teil des Westwalles. Vorne deutscher Wachtposten beim alten Vorderlader und 3,7 cm Hansa-Maschinenkanone auf Lafette. Am Horizonte in der Mitte weisses Kriegsschiff, engl. Kanonenboot Algerine sowie mehrere andere Dampfer auf dem Pei-ho Flusse.
