Colophon signed and dated 1643 by the scribe Isaiah (fol. 76r in red): ἡ παραου̃σα δέλτος ἐγρφὴ ὑπὸ χειρὸς εὐτελου̃ς, ̕ Ησαΐου τάχα καὶ ιερο[μονά]χ[ου] καὶ ό̔ς τὶς εὕρει τω̃ν γραμματέων σφαλτὸ[ν] ἅς με συγχωρήση τὴν ἀμαθεί[αν] [και ἀβράβευτον?] ἐπὶ έ̓τους ζρνα ́.

Layout: Written in 1 column of 15 lines; burnished on recto of each leaf using ruling board.

Script: Written by Isaiah, "the unworthy priest monk, " in a smallish, tight script in black ink, leaning slightly to the right. Frequent ligatures. Punctuation in gilt. Liturgical instructions in red, silver, and gilt.

Decoration: Ornamental initials with floriate and zoomorphic designs in gilt, greyish yellow green, moderate blue, deep reddish orange, dark pink, and silver. Headpieces for liturgies of Saints Chrysostom and Basil have been removed. fol. 2r: rectangular ornamental headpiece (27 x 83 mm) of interlacing rings, shaded with vivid red, moderate greenish blue, and brilliant orange yellow, with floriate designs extending diagonally from each corner. fol. 60r: rectangular ornamental headpiece (36 x 70 mm) of two deep reddish orange flowers on either side facing toward a stem at the center with a dark pink flower and buds on either side. Background in dark blue, stems and foliage in gilt and greyish yellow green. Red and pink flowers with green leaves extending diagonally from each corner. fol. 77r, 78r, 80r, 84r, 88r: ornamental bar headpiece with knotwork and finials, in deep reddish orange, deep blue and silver.
