Collation: Paper, fol. 44 + iii (ruled but blank) ; 1-4¹⁰ 5⁸(-8) ; catchwords in the gutter margin of the last leaf of each gathering, written from head to tail.
Layout: Written in 1 column of 18 lines; ruled by mastara.
Script: The characteristics are those of Demetrios Chalcondyles (1423-1511). See Ernst Gamillescheg and Dieter Harlfinger, Repetorium der griechischen Kopisten 800-1600. 1.A Handschriften aus Bibliotheken Grossbritanniens. ("Veröffentlichungen der Kommission für Byzantinistik, " III; Wien: Verlag der Österreichischen Akademie der Wissenschaften, 1981), page 74; 1.B, page 48; 1.C, pl. 105; a small, minuscule in a dark black ink. Titles for each of the odes and the initial letter are written in a soft reddish brown ink.

The text is for the most part Triclinian but is not identical with the Roman text and does not seem to be copied from it.
Binding: A nineteenth-century binding of a tan blind-tooled calf with covers framed in double azured fillets enclosing a twisted rope pattern made up of two alternating s-curve elements: one composed of a slender leaf and the other of annules of increasing and decreasing size; within which is a small cresting role with alternating blossoms and leaves. In the center rococo leaf ornaments frame an oval cartouche. On the spine are four flat raised bands with lozenges filled with annular points of various sizes.
