Red punctuation marks; verses marked by three red dots; catchwords. Not all surahs marked with title; when written, surah headings are in red and appear to have been added by a later hand. Text fully vocalized. First few words of some volumes in red if text does not begin with the basmalah. On leaves 23a-b, volume 18; page 2 of cover of volume 24; and leaf 2b, volume 29 are practice copies of Sūrat al-Fātiḥah written in a crude hand. Volume 29 bound out of order; correct sequence of leaves is 5, 1, 4, 6-23, 3, 2. Some volumes end with "ṣadaqa Allāh al-aẓīm . . . " Damp staining around margins. Originally housed in leather case measuring 12. 5 x 29 x 17. 6 cm.
