| - | Let us pray. | 8:50 |
| Although we live and move and have our birthday, | 8:53 | |
| here now we spoke of yearning for new life, | 9:00 | |
| for healing, for growth through all our doubts | 9:05 | |
| and confusions and convictions. | 9:10 | |
| Lift from our minds the intention you seek, | 9:15 | |
| that keeps us from the cold bed of our creed. | 9:21 | |
| Expose us to the depths of light, | 9:26 | |
| and there may we find one who has preceded us | 9:30 | |
| on our journey. | 9:33 | |
| And let us learn again, in your preceding, | 9:35 | |
| and then burn in light. | 9:40 | |
| So believing, help us so our fates unite, | 9:43 | |
| and the fate that thou are forever in the midst | 9:49 | |
| of our life, amen. | 9:53 | |

| Our Father, who art in heaven | 36:52 | |

| Peace. | 38:11 | |
| This ancient greeting of Hebrews has in recent years | 38:14 | |
| spilled over into the Christian community. | 38:18 | |
| And we are using it with increasing frequency. | 38:23 | |
| It has become quite commonplace in some parts | 38:28 | |
| of Quebec and (indistinct). | 38:32 | |
| Congregations are also incorporating it in | 38:42 | |
| the context of worship. | 38:46 | |
| I am not sure how we've come to popularizing | 38:51 | |
| of this greeting, | 38:54 | |
| but I suspect that these agonizing four years | 38:57 | |
| and turmoil have been partially responsible. | 39:02 | |
| We had had precious little peace for a long time | 39:08 | |
| and this ancient greeting has afforded for us | 39:13 | |
| a way to express us being on a different path. | 39:18 | |
| Though the greeting Shalom certainly carries | 39:26 | |
| with it (indistinct). | 39:30 | |
| It is by no means denying that. | 39:35 | |
| Shalom is one of those words that is abundantly rich | 39:39 | |
| in meaning. | 39:44 | |
| It is in fact a positive | 39:46 | |
| and powerful affirmation of faith. | 39:49 | |
| Whenever you greet someone in this way, | 39:54 | |
| we are speaking our inherent, sacred | 39:58 | |
| crying of peace. | 40:01 | |
| May peace emanate from our awareness of | 40:04 | |
| and good relationship with God. | 40:09 | |
| This one is true in our understanding | 40:17 | |
| of what we are communicating with each other. | 40:19 | |
| When we say, Shalom, peace. | 40:23 | |
| A part of what this means is that you will be blessed | 40:32 | |
| and elevated between all life. | 40:37 | |
| That you will be blessed and elevated | 40:44 | |
| through all life, within the life with God. | 40:47 | |
| It is an affirmation that everything that's standing, | 40:52 | |
| it's a greeting that means that peace will come | 40:57 | |
| to those, entering all hearts and lives. | 41:02 | |
